The Foodhub NRW is an innovation platform and lively network for all those in NRW who are rethinking agriculture, food and nutrition with their ideas.

What ideas can we use to achieve sustainability goals, such as climate protection and biodiversity, or the reduction of environmental damage caused by packaging waste, for example?

What ideas can we use to secure food for 10 billion people? How can we reduce food waste, realize a circular economy, design resilient supply chains and food systems?

And – last but not least – what ideas can we use to bring good-tasting and nutritious food to discerning consumers?

Together we will develop solutions for the New Food Economy.

In order to achieve these goals, the Foodhub NRW monitors trends and technologies along the entire value chain and brings innovation players together to jointly develop and pilot new ideas in close cooperation: Start-ups, science, farmers, SMEs, corporations, technology companies and political players.

Our online platform and event formats provide ideas on innovation topics and trends, create transparency and offer networking opportunities.
