It is part of the scientific process to constantly develop new hypotheses and ideas – many of these visions can be the basis for innovative business models. The University of Duisburg-Essen’s Center for Start-ups and Innopreneurship (GUIDE), under the umbrella of the Science Support Center, is the central point of contact for start-ups based on studies and science.

As direct contacts, our start-up coaches and innovation managers offer a wide range of measures to support start-up projects in all phases. Whether cutting-edge AI technology, social services or medical products, with GUIDE the University of Duisburg-Essen enables the targeted incubation of projects from a wide range of disciplines.
