Biopharmaceuticals are produced from mammalian cells in so-called bioreactors. A major challenge is to ensure the optimal nutrient concentration for the cells. This is why samples are taken and analysed manually every day. IRUBIS enables continuous monitoring and control of glucose with a novel mid-infrared spectroscopy system called Monipa.
