That is our motto and our guiding principle: At the xG-Incubator, we accelerate the transfer of cutting-edge research in the field of communication technologies into marketable innovations.

We support start-ups and founding teams in translating scientific findings into concrete applications and developing solutions for key challenges in industry and society. In this way, we are strengthening Germany and Europe as innovation hubs by specifically establishing new companies in the field of critical communication infrastructures and promoting the development of key technologies.

THE STARTUPCONNECT PROGRAM

Our program consists of Phase 1 (Evaluation Program) and Phase 2 (Incubation Program).

Phase 1 – Evaluation (12 months)

  • The goal: Validate your startup idea and prove its technical feasibility.
  • What you get: Up to €800,000 in funding, plus support for the technical evaluation of your concept and the development of a demonstrator or proof of concept (PoC).

Phase 2 – Incubation (up to 24 months)

  • The goal: Prepare your company for market entry and long-term growth.
  • What you get: Up to €800,000 in funding, a structured incubation process focused on market readiness, business model validation, and support in securing follow-up financing.
