Recyclable products: from trend to commodity?

When it comes to the circular economy, opportunities for start-ups are emerging through early sightings of trends. These can implement new ideas and innovations – detached from existing structures and processes – much more quickly. As early adopters, young companies set new trends and drive established market players ahead of them. Of course, not all trends catch on, but when they do, they can become commodities relatively quickly.
