Sandbox – der zweistufige Accelerator für digitale Geschäftsmodelle aus den Bereichen Medien, Design & Software.

The Sandbox is the two-stage Startup BW Accelerator for founders with digital business ideas in the fields of software, media and design. The program is divided into the Activation and Acceleration Stages.

The Activation Stage provides you with the knowledge you need to work out a viable business model and develop your prototype through workshops, individual coaching, a co-working space and a budget of up to 15.000€ for your prototype or marketing expenses.

In the Acceleration Stage, we work with you to find financing options, provide you with the necessary contacts in our network, to business angels and investors, and provide you with individual and needs-oriented support for your market entry.

The Sandbox is a Startup BW Accelerator and is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism and carried out together with the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation and the Impact Hub Stuttgart. It is connected to the Generator Startup Center of the Stuttgart Media University (HdM).

We run two batches per year, usually one in autumn and one in spring. Startups can apply with a Pitch Deck. We will then arrange an introductory talk in order to get to know more about the startups and their needs.
