We are establishing a centrally controlled deposit pool system with standardized reusable plastic containers for dry food. Based on the system for reusable bottles, we are creating a sustainable solution for the food industry and enabling manufacturers to easily switch to more sustainable packaging. The containers are filled directly in the manufacturer’s production facility and individualized using an adhesive paper label, which is removed again during cleaning. The empty containers can then be easily returned to existing deposit machines in the supermarket. We take care of the collection, cleaning and quality control so that food manufacturers do not have any additional work. With “Reusable-as-a-Service”, we offer food manufacturers a comprehensive service and, in return, receive a usage fee per container per rotation. The deposit is passed on as a transitory item along the cycle to secure production costs.
